How do I get to the Petersen Events Center?
The Petersen Events Center is located at 3719 Terrace Street in the heart of Oakland.
Where do I park when attending an event?
For all events, the University of Pittsburgh recommends that attendees park in the OC, PG and SO parking lots located near the Petersen Events Center.
How much does parking cost?
Event parking rates are usually $20 per vehicle but may vary for each event.

What do I do if I need accessible seating?
The Petersen Events Center was designed with guests with disabilities in mind. There are a limited number of wheelchairs available for guests, which are offered only as staff-assisted transport from the entrance gates to the seat location.

Concerts and special events box office is located next to Concourse A entrance on the upper plaza. This office is only on event day.
Where are my seats located?
Seating charts are available online when ordering tickets or on the seating charts
Do my children need tickets if they sit on my lap?
For most events, children under the age of 1 (12 months) are not required to have a ticket. However, if you wish for your child to have their own seat, a ticket is required.
Are cameras permitted in the arena?
For Pitt basketball, The Petersen Events Center allows only small personal still cameras equipped with a 3-inch lens or smaller.
Cameras with detachable lenses or flashes are not permitted. Video, audio, and professional camera and recording devices are strictly prohibited in the building. Camera policies vary for all other events, please call the Petersen Events Center the week of the event to find out the camera policy for that particular event.
What items are prohibited from the Petersen Events Center?
Items that may interfere with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for our guests are prohibited.
What time do doors open before an event?
For all Men's Basketball games at the Petersen Events Center, doors open 60 minutes prior to tipoff. For all other events, doors generally open one to two hours prior to the start time.
Can I bring food into the Petersen Events Center?
Patrons may not bring food and beverages into the building; however, there are concessions stands available throughout the facility.
What is the closest restaurant to the Petersen Events Center?

Are ATM machines available in the Petersen Events Center?
ATM machines are located on the lawn level (PNC Bank) to the right of the food court, and on the concourse level (PNC Bank) behind section 104.
Is smoking permitted in the Petersen Events Center?
The University of Pittsburgh is a smoke free campus. Smoking is not permitted in the Petersen Events Center.
