The Petersen Events Center is located at 3719 Terrace Street in the heart of Oakland. Situated on the upper campus, next to Trees Hall, Fitzgerald Field House, and the Cost Center, the Petersen Events Center's main lobby entrance is located on Terrace Street in between Darragh and DeSoto Streets. The concourse level entrance is located on Allequippa Street.

Parking

For all events, the University of Pittsburgh recommends that attendees park in the OC, TV, PG or SO parking lots located near the Petersen Events Center. Event parking rates are usually $20 per vehicle but may vary for each event. For additional parking information and parking locations, please call 412-624-4034 or view the map.

PG Garage (School of Public Health) -3812 O’Hara Street, Pittsburgh PA 15213.
Soldiers and Sailors Garage- 4390 Bigelow Blvd, Pittsburgh PA 15213.

The BioScience Tower Garage (BST) garage is the closest accessible parking garage to the Petersen Events Center. The BST garage accessible entrance is diagonal to the front of the building on Terrace Street. A valid placard or license plate is required to park in the accessible spaces in this garage. All guests are encouraged to arrive early in an attempt to secure parking that best accommodates their needs.

Box Office & Pitt Shop Parking

For the Lobby Level (athletic) box office, short-term parking is available in the J parking lot located adjacent to the front steps of the building. For the Concourse Level (non-athletic) box office, there are 30-minute parking meters available in front of Sutherland Hall on Allequippa Street.

Bus Parking

Bus parking may vary for each show. Please call our event hotline at 412-648-3054 for current arrangements.

Drop-Off / Pick-Up Areas

Drop-off and pick-up for guests attending events at the Petersen Events Center should be made at the main lobby entrance on Terrace Street. For those needing a wheelchair accessible entrance, please use the main lobby entrance.
